UDIRC RC Cars: Full Brand & Model Guide — Panther, Sierra, UCX Crawlers and More
UDIRC (also written UDI R/C) is one of the quiet giants of the hobby. It never chased hype; it just kept shipping well-sorted, fully proportional 4WD cars that reviewers kept recommending — most famously the Panther drift truck, which became a default "first real RC car" suggestion worldwide. Today the range spans 1:24 crawlers to 1:10 brushless desert trucks, plus one of the best budget RC boat lines anywhere.
The 1600 Series — UDIRC's Heartland
The 1:16 range is where UDIRC built its reputation. The 1601 and 1602 Panther are fully proportional 4WD drift/race trucks with 2.4GHz radios and electronic stability programs — and the 1602 PRO brushless version turned an already-loved car into a genuine performer. The line has since grown through the 1603, 1604, 1605, 1606, 1607, 1608, 1609 and into the current 1610/1610S/1610 PRO and 1611, the PRO running a 3800KV brushless motor on 2S. There's also the M16 for the racing crowd. The theme across all of them: proportional control, tough drivetrains and easy spares.
1:12 — UD1201 and UD1202 PRO
The 12-series scales the same formula up for more presence and stability at speed, with the UD1202 PRO as the brushless option. These sit in the sweet spot between pocketable 1:16s and garage-hogging 1:10s.
1:10 — The Sierra and Blaster Trucks
UDIRC's 1:10 range is its most serious. The UD1001 Blaster desert truck came first, followed by the UD1002 and UD1002SE, and now the brushless UD1002P — sold as the Sierra Max UD1002P desert trophy truck, which we stock. Think proper 1:10 desert-racer proportions, brushless power and hobby-grade electronics (the platform shares its ESC family with well-known hobby brands), at a price that undercuts the established 1:10 names badly. The UD1005 continues the platform's evolution.
UCX — The Crawler Side
Less famous but growing fast: UDIRC's crawler line. The UCX2401, UCX2402 and UCX2405 PRO are 1:24 micro crawlers competing with the FMS FCX24 class, while the UCX1801 PRO and UCX1802 PRO bring the same idea to 1:18. If you like the mini-crawler category, these are worth cross-shopping against the FMS models — we stock the FCX24M Tacoma and FCX18 K10 for exactly that comparison.
UDI RC Boats
Ask any RC boat forum for a budget recommendation and a UDI hull comes up: the UDI001, UDI005 Arrow, UDI008, UDI009 Rapid, UDI010 and UDI018 among them. Self-righting hulls and water-cooled motors at pocket-money prices made UDIRC the default entry brand on water, the way WLtoys is on land.

Should You Buy UDIRC?
Yes — especially if "fully proportional and hard to kill" matters more to you than flashy claimed speeds. For Indian buyers the standout is the Sierra Max UD1002P: 1:10 brushless desert-truck performance at a 1:16 kind of price. As with everything at God of Toys, ours ships bench-tested from Noida with battery and controller included and free insured shipping across India.
